How to temper your appetite an avoid overeating.

Eat every three hours or so. By keeping your blood sugar up, your hunger will not drive your appetite. When you skip meals and snacks, you body goes into starvation mode. You get hungry! It takes time for your brain to turn off the starvation hunger. Even after you eat enough, you will remain hungry and tend to over-eat.

By eating snacks between meals, you will have actually have less of an appetite, making it easier to stay on your diet and avoid overeating.

Don’t get caught out without snacks. Throughout the day it is sometimes difficult to take breaks to eat. Make sure you prepare for the day. Pack some healthy snacks like almonds, walnuts, yogurt, string cheese or vegetables.

1Eat All The Time
I just eat all the time! Alternate between vegetable, fruit, protein. If you eat all the time you are never hungry. It becomes almost a chore to eat dinner.

2Be prepared
Always have a can of almonds in the car. That way you can eat...and not have to stop for fast food.
