How to make a great impression on someone by remembering their name.

 | It is critical to remember a person’s name! Always remember the name. If you are not the best at remembering, put the name in your phone as soon as possible with a description of the person.
Note other important information about the person as well. Write down their partner’s name, their children’s names, what they do, their important hobbies and any another information you learn.
When you get home put them in a file. If you can get their birthday, even better! You can create stats about each person. It is almost like a baseball card collection. If you do this, you will have a great network of people to support your success!
When you hear a name, repeat it 3 times in your head. Try to link it to something about the person. If you know another person with the same name, think of 3 things those two people have in common. When you leave the person, say their name, “It was nice to meet you, _______”. When you cam, write the name down 3 times. While you write, picture the person’s face in your head.
If people have a nick name or short name due to the difficulty of their real name, use their real name! Make the effort to learn the difficult name and show them that they are important to you.
Next time you see the person, if you remembered their name, they will be very impressed! You took the time to remember them! They must have been interesting or attractive enough to cause you to go to this effort! They feel great and this great feeling is now linked to you in their minds.
