| 9.6 | Goals Tip - Pick Your 5 Most Important Goals and Assign One to Each Finger |
|
How to train yourself to keep your goals in your mind by assigning one to each finger.
|
 | “The mind moves in the direction of our currently dominant thoughts” – Earl Nightingale
You will tend to migrate toward your dominant thoughts. If you constantly think about food, you tend to eat. If you constantly think about exercise and fitness, you tend to work out! If you constantly think about your goals, you tend to achieve them.
Pick your 5 most important goals and assign one to each finger. Sometimes, people like to pick one major goal from the 5 most important areas in their lives. This may be health, family, community, happiness and career (or they could be 5 totally different areas for you). Your family goal may be assigned to your thumb. Your Career goal may be assigned to your index finder and so on.
Now, whenever you look at your hands or use them to pick anything up, think about your goals. Whenever you think about it, cycle through your fingers and name the goal as you go. As you think about the goal, visualize it as complete in your mind.
