How to achieve success by eliminated negative self talk.

Remove “Can’t” from your vocabulary! This kind of defeatist, negative affirmation is very damaging. Once you say “can’t”, your mind automatically shuts off. It no longer works to find a solution. Saying “can’t” is like saying, “I give up”.

Successful people never use words like “can’t”. Instead of saying “can’t”, say “how”. For example, instead of “I can’t work out today”, say “How can I work out today”. Instead of saying “I can’t afford it”, say “How can I afford it”. This puts your mind in a resourceful state. You begin thinking of ways to make it happen. More likely than not, you will find a way.

Never say “can’t” again!

2Never say Try
Try is worse than can't. When you say try, you are giving yourself an out. You already start with less than your best.

I had no idea that I used "Can't" so often. I say it to my kids, to my employees, to my friends. I gotta stop.

5When you hear "Can't" think "Can"
You can do anything. You can choose not to do some things. It is your choice. You may choose not to face the consequences of a certain thing, but it is still your choice. Really, "Can't" is an illusion.
