How to keep your workouts interesting by doing something different.



Boredom is one of the main reasons why people quit exercising. If you find yourself loosing interest in your workouts, mix them up. Do not make yourself do the same thing over and over. Run on the treadmill one day. Lift free weights the next. Take a kick boxing class. Try swimming laps. Go for a hike. Just do something different!

By mixing up your workouts, you will also get better results. Our bodies are amazing! They will adapt to the workouts you do. If you keep doing the same things, you body will plateau. You will find that you no longer get the same results. If this is happening to you, do something different!

Sit down and brainstorm some ideas for different workouts. Sign up for a gym that gives you access to many different types of exercise programs. Buy a new workout video or talk to a trainer and see if they have any advice.
