How to loose fat by hitting the weights.



Start a weight program. Weight training done in the right way will not bulk you up, it will actually slim you down.

Aerobic exercise is great for your cardiovascular system (your heart and lungs). However, by itself, it is not the best way to loose weight.

You have to burn 3500 calories (in the correct way) to loose one pound. Walking one mile will burn 100 calories. So, you burn one pound for every 35 miles you walk.

Each pound of muscle in your body burns about 50 calories per day.

If you are able to add 3 pounds of muscle, you will increase your metabolism enough to burn up to 8% more calories per day. This is almost an extra 100 calories. This means that your body will automatically burn 1 extra pound every month!
