11Only Need this For a While
After a few months, you get it down. You know how much food you need and all the calories and stuff. It is hard work to do the journal at first. Stick with it. The benefit is great.

13Diet Notebook Makes Dieting Easier
When I use a diet notebook I find myself not wanting to eat because I do not want to fill out the stuff! I tend to eat foods that I know about the calories. Is stick to healthy ones.

A diet notebook is essential! You have to know what you are eating. You can blow your whole diet by adding a bag of Doritos. You need to keep track of food and nutritional info. Nutritional info is available on packaging and many places on the internet. This is good for fast food and packaged food. When you eat at home make sure to also weigh you food. When you guess, you are wrong. Get a food scale and use it. After you use it for a while you get good at guessing weights and calories.

The tips are useful. It almost addictive to fill out the notebook every day.

16Write it Down and You Will do it!
There is a simple rule that works for all goal setting. Write it down and you will do it! Diet notebook is a great way to right things down. You will grow to love checking items of your list and seeing how much you have achieved for the day!
