How to reduce your food cravings and help yourself stick to your diet by having a bowl of healthy, vegetable soup before dinner.

Studies show that people who eat soup before a meal consume fewer calories. When you start your dinner with a bowl of soup, you will feel full faster. When you feel satisfied it is much easier to stick to your diet.

A study at Tufts University showed that eating gazpacho soup that contained tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers and galic helped reduce stress related molecules in the body.

Vegetable soups are also a great way to add vegetables to your diet. Vegetables give you energy, they help you maintain your fitness and they help prevent diseases.

Be careful to avoid cream based or other high calorie soups. Make your own vegetable soup to be sure that it is not high calorie.

Make a big batch for the week and freeze it. Have some every day. You will feel and look great!
