How to get the most value from any piece of advice.
Advice is nice! You can listen to a tip, but to really learn the information you must apply it. Just do it!

For example, if you really want one of the tips on SuccinctSuccess.com to help you, make sure that you put it into action immediately.

By acting out the tip it becomes real. It is no longer an abstract idea in your mind. When you apply the information you have to think through the steps to execute the idea. You may not know that you were missing a step until you actually have to perform the action.

For example, take the tip, “Write down your goals”. This is one of the most valuable tips that a person can apply. You may think that it is straight forward, that you get it. But try it now. Right now! Just do it! If you have not done it before it may be difficult. When you try to do it, it is much harder that you thought. It is uncomfortable because it is actually reinforcing the information in your brain and making you think through the tip fully. You have to articulate what you goals actually are and think about how you will achieve them.

Only when you are finished do you fully understand the tip!

To get the greatest value from any advice, make sure that you put it into action as soon as possible!

1Try Visualizing
Doing something is the best way to learn it. If you cannot do it, visualize it. This is the second best way. It works great. You mind thinks you are doing it and you learn.

2There is learning and then there is doing
Doing trumps book learning every time. You really have to do something to become an expert. You really want to learn...get a job in the area. You want to learn tennis, go get a job at the sports club. You want to learn to cook, get a part time job at a restaurant.
