How to eat fewer calories by eating slowly.

 | It takes about 20 minutes after we start eating for our brain to register that we are filling up. If you eat at a rapid pace, you consume far more calories than you need. If you slow down and completely chew your food, you give your brain a chance to catch up. You will start to feel full and you will eat less.
Take your time! Make sure that you sit down with a plate and savor each bite. After each bite, set your fork down, chew and swallow. If you are eating something you are holding like pizza, take a bite and put the food down. Chew and swallow and then pick the food back up. This will also improve your digestion.
