How to eat fewer calories by eating slowly.

It takes about 20 minutes after we start eating for our brain to register that we are filling up. If you eat at a rapid pace, you consume far more calories than you need. If you slow down and completely chew your food, you give your brain a chance to catch up. You will start to feel full and you will eat less.

Take your time! Make sure that you sit down with a plate and savor each bite.
After each bite, set your fork down, chew and swallow. If you are eating something you are holding like pizza, take a bite and put the food down. Chew and swallow and then pick the food back up. This will also improve your digestion.
