How to control your appetite by eating protein with every meal.

 | Protein is more satisfying per calorie that carbohydrate. You will feel more full and will be less likely to overeat if you have an adequate amount of protein in your diet. You will also supply the building blocks necessary to build muscles that burn calories at a higher rate.
It also requires more energy to digest protein. This gives a boost to your metabolism. Studies show that you can burn almost twice the amount of calories digesting protein than carbohydrates alone.
Eat things like cheese, walnuts, almonds, yogurt, and beans as snacks throughout the day.
Remember, it is very bad for you to eat too much protein. Never consume more than 30% of your diet in protein. You will not get the nutrients you need and you will place a severe strain on your kidneys.

| This does help cut down those cravings for high calorie carb snacks. Try nuts, string cheese, yogurt, soy milk as additions to your snacks. Be careful of powerbars. Not all of them are great.
