How to improve relationships by being excited to see people.

 | Smile! When you see someone, look them in the eyes, smile and say “Hello”! Say it like you mean it! Be enthusiastic! Keep their good qualities in mind as you talk to them. You want them around! If people feel welcome and needed and important, they will be more likely to be productive. Smiles are infectious. They will smile back and it has been shown that they will actually feel happier as a result. So, your presence will make them happy! They will want to be around you and help you succeed!
Be enthusiastic whenever you greet someone. This works for all areas of your life.
When you meet you spouse, smile and give them a kiss.
When you meet your kids, be enthusiastic. Yell, “Hello” and give them a hug.
When you meet your employees, be excited. Ask them how they are doing!
When you meet your friends, tell them how excited you are to see them.
You like them! Act like it when you see them! They will appreciate it, and in the future they will be more likely to enjoy seeing you. If you see someone, go out of your way to say hello and smile. Never pretend like you did not see them.
Even if you are on the phone, smile and act excited. The enthusiasm will translate through the phone. The other person will sense it. They will quickly learn that talking to you makes them feel liked.

| This is a tip given in the great book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People". There is a reasons that this book is a classic. It is right on the money. If you have not read it, read it NOW. Go to the library and get it NOW.
The example they give is who do you love the most? You love your small children and your dog! When they see you they are so excited! Their love is obvious. Only a cold hearted person would not melt at the reception! Be like this and people will love to see you.
Act excited and interested in people and you will have countless friends.
