How to improve your health and reduce your chance of disease by minimizing trans fats in your diet.

Trans Fat LabelAvoid trans fats. Trans fats are like poison. When trans fats are ingested, they destroy the flexibility and health of individual cell membranes. This is like breaking your body down from the inside out.

Trans fats have been shown to cause cancer, birth defects, diabetes and heart disease. A 2% increase in the trans fats in your diet increase your chance of diabetes by 39%. The same 2% increase also causes a 23% increase in the chance for heart disease.

Trans fats have also been shown to increase the rate of ADHD, aggression and learning disabilities in children.

Trans fats are found in margarine, candies, crackers, cookies, snack foods, fried foods, baked snacks and many other process foods made with partially hydrogenated vegetable oils.

Look at the nutritional information on everything you eat. If it contains trans fats, DO NOT EAT IT.

1Oh No!!!! Trans Fats!!!
Just found out that my favorite frozen meal contains a lot of trans fat. Gotta find a new one.
